Job purpose
As a barista, it is your duty to deliver a memorable, welcoming and efficient service to all costumers that visit Kaf. Utilizing a set of social skills to an enriching and engaging experience to every costumer. This role demands high standards in a range of responsibilities, such as taking order, serving food and pastries, and preparing beverages. You must have existing speciality coffee knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
Working closely with colleagues to deliver a memorable, welcoming and efficient customer experience
Developing strong relationships with colleagues and customers
Taking orders promptly, in a friendly and efficient manner
Utilising speciality equipment to ensure beverages are made to the highest standard
Providing table service
Preparing parts of the food menu
Performing other reasonable duties and/or projects, as directed by your line manager
Ensuring health and safety standards are not only adhered to, but superseded; Kaf must be immaculate at all times (front-of-house and back-of-house)
Ensuring compliance with Kaf’s policies, procedures and guidance, along with all other relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
As a valued member of our team, it is essential that you contribute to Kaf’s continued evolution by suggesting areas of improvement and voicing new ways for the brand to grow and expand
About Kaf
A cafe located on a corner of a cozy street on Nørrebro led by Magnus and Jonas. Kaf is a daytime (and sometimes evening) hangout spot for socializing over high quality food, drink and pastries made all in house by our team. Our menu is focused around transparency and pureness and to give every ingredient space to breathe and perceived with delight.
Coffee wise we source from small roasters around Europe, and have a ever rotating selection of coffee on hand to offer. We strive to prepare beverages with care and precision.
