Job purpose
As a part of our kitchen staff, you will have your hands in many different areas that make up what Kaf is. Your aid is what will give our weekends the same level of high quality and swift service as any other day. The areas are mainly but not limited to kitchen prep, food service, dishes and baking.
We’re a small team, so you’ll never make the same repeatable task for longer periods of time.
Responsibilities
Dishwashing and table cleaning.
Taking orders promptly, in a friendly and efficient manner
Providing table service
Preparation of the food menu
Baking pastries and cakes
Performing other reasonable duties and/or projects, as directed by your line manager
Ensuring health and safety standards are not only adhered to, but superseded; Kaf must be immaculate at all times (front-of-house and back-of-house)
Ensuring compliance with Kaf’s policies, procedures and guidance, along with all other relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
As a valued member of our team, it is essential that you contribute to Kaf’s continued evolution by suggesting areas of improvement and voicing new ways for the brand to grow and expand
About Kaf
A cafe located on a corner of a cozy street on Nørrebro led by Magnus and Jonas. Kaf is a daytime (and sometimes evening) hangout spot for socializing over high quality food, drink and pastries made all in house by our team. Our menu is focused around transparency and pureness and to give every ingredient space to breathe and perceived with delight.
Coffee wise we source from roasters around Europe, and have a ever rotating selection of coffee on hand to offer. We strive to prepare beverages with care and precision.
